HAPPY WORLD VEGAN DAY!
On November 1, Vegan Day is celebrated annually throughout the world. Veganism is a lifestyle that practices avoiding the use of products of animals, may it be food, clothes, decorations, or any purpose. Here in the Philippines, our origins were never vegan from the start, especially with our food. Our dishes are mostly meat, seafood, and or partnered with dairy. In this modern time, here are a couple of restaurants around the Makati with a vegan menu.
Ultimately famous for their Vegan Bagnet Kare-Kare and another hole-in-the-wall at Poblacion, Makati. Their plant-based menu, iconic wall art, wooden furniture and friendly atmosphere will have you coming back for more!
This Lebanese restaurant has been attracting people all over the metro with their famous hummus dishes! They have various options on their vegan-vegetarian menu. One can't have too much Falafel and Baklava when you are dining in their place! Not to mention, they also sell herbs & spices.
